Attention Local 342 Members:

Please take note that Local 342 has made some adjustments to our office operations in regard to COVID-19 while continuing to use the safest office practices currently available to limit exposure of our members and staff.

We have increased the staffing in all area offices to limited capacity of 25% according to state guidelines, which include maintaining social distancing, wearing face masks, installed plexi-glass barriers, sanitizing and other necessary safety precautions for staff working in each office location.  The rest of our Local 342 employees continue to work remotely.

Effective July 20, 2020 the Mineola office will be open to the members for in person visits between the hours of 9am -4:30pm daily with restrictions and guidelines in place for the safety of all members and staff.  Therefore, we kindly ask that you:

  • Help us make your visit safe for both you and our staff by following all instructions.
  • Take notice of all posted signs and instructions for entering and exiting the building.
  • Follow NYS guidelines and wear a face covering at all times while in the building.
  • Please complete a health screening assessment when entering the building.

The Staten Island and Bohemia offices will remain closed to visitors (members and public) at this time except by appointment when necessary.  These closures will be reviewed periodically, and will remain closed until further notice.

AREA OFFICE PHONES CONTINUE TO BE ANSWERED and messages will continue to be directed to the appropriate Local 342 staff and Representatives during normal operating hours (9am-4:30pm daily).  Numbers for the area offices are listed below:

Staten Island: 718-370-3425 ● Mineola: 516-747-5980 ● Bohemia: 631-654-8790

All Monday Nights continue to be suspended until further notice.

All Local 342 Activities continue to be suspended until further notice.

Local 342 will stay in communication with our members at all times and keep the membership informed as we advance to each phase of re-opening until every aspect of the organization returns to its normal operating procedures.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding at this time.

Thank you
